Artisanal vegetable cinnamon mantecados are one of the most traditional types of mantecados, known for their exquisite toasted cinnamon flavor that is smooth and pleasing to the palate. They are made with natural cinnamon sticks directly sourced from Sri Lanka, giving them their unique flavor.
Produced in our workshop using the same age-old recipe and the finest raw materials, we pay great attention to every step of the production process to maintain the quality that represents us. These double-cinnamon artisanal mantecados are made with a base of vegetable lard, sugar, and wheat flour, and they pass through our bakery ovens to achieve the perfect baking, giving them the ideal texture that melts in your mouth. The flavor of cinnamon sticks is imparted by the powder obtained by grinding cinnamon sticks in our workshop, which is added during the production process. These traditional cinnamon mantecados are topped with a layer of sesame seeds, also known as ajonjolí.
The presentation of these mantecados is in a tissue paper wrapping with a white base and red and blue stars, featuring the product's seal in blue at the center. They are bundled in pairs (double) and prepared with the highest quality. You can find the double-cinnamon mantecados in both 500g or 1kg bags, as well as in a 4kg bulk box, all perfectly packaged.
